How it works
1. Connect & Discover
It all starts with getting to know you. Reach out through my contact form and tell me what you're envisioning - whether it's a family session, milestone, maternity, couples session, or your wedding day. We'll talk about your ideas, location, availability, and everything you want captured
2. Plan & Prepare
Once you're officially booked, we'll start bringing everything together. I'll help with location ideas, outfits, timing, and any questions along the way. For weddings, we'll also work together on your photography or film timeline so the moments that matter most have room to unfold naturally.
3. Capture & Deliver
Now for the best part! During your session, I'll guide you when you need it leaving plenty of room for the genuine, candid moments to happen naturally. Afterward, your images will be carefully edited and delivered through a private gallery where you can download, share, and print your favorites.
For wedding Films, your completed film will be digitally delivered so you can experience your day all over again.
From planning to memories, every step captured with intention.

FAQ
How do we book a photo session with you?
Start by reaching out through my contact form! Once we choose a date and time, a 25% non-refundable retainer is required to officially reserve your session. The remaining balance is due the day before your scheduled session. And for weddings it is two weeks before your big day.
What should we wear for our session?
Wear something that feels like you! I recommend coordinating rather than perfectly matching. Neutral, earthy, and complementing colors photography beautifully, but I'm always happy to help you choose based on your location and the look you're going for.
How long does it take to get our photos?
Most galleries are delivered with in 1 day to 2 weeks, depending on the session and season. Wedding galleries and films have a longer turnaround time, which will be outlined when booking.
Can I order prints or albums through you?
Your gallery includes personal download and print rights, so you have the freedom to print your images. Professional print options may also be available directly through your online gallery.
Do you travel?
Absolutely! I'm based in Hopkinton, Iowa, but I'm happy to travel for sessions and weddings. Locations outside my regular service area may include an additional travel fee.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Iowa weather likes to keep us on our toes! If weather makes an outdoor session unsafe or unsuitable, we'll work together to determine the best option, whether that means adjusting the time, choosing another location, or rescheduling.
Do you tell us how to pose?
Absolutely - you don't need to know what to do in front of the camera! I'll guide you with posing and prompts throughout your session while also giving you space to interact naturally. My goal is to include a mix of beautiful portraits and genuine, candid moments.
